One Life

The minute we are born, we are given a set of instructions on how to live.

  1. Obey adults
  2. Listen to your teachers
  3. Do well in school
  4. Go to college
  5. Major in something “useful”
  6. Get a job
  7. Get a family
  8. Save some money
  9. Retire…..

But we only live one life.
Why accept these instructions? Why not make our own instructions?
Are we really willing to use our only life doing what everyone else does?

These “instructions” make us feel secure because we’ve seen our fellow classmates or friends or family follow them and live a comfortable life in this world.
Is our purpose simply to live a comfortable life? Are we all born to follow the same standards and to yearn for basic “comfort”?

Our true purpose, our true meaning of life is to expand our understanding of the current paradigm and see the faults in it in order to realize that

There is no right or wrong
No good or evil
And that life on Earth is only a single moment.
Just one moment,
Just one life.
