Holy Work

There was a time when our goal was to find enough food to survive for the day.
Now, we have farmers who provide the food that we need.
We do not worry about starving to death.

Many members of our world have now been given the opportunity to live without worrying about hunting, scavenging, or harvesting for food.
Yet even with this new opportunity, none of us show any regard to the farmers.

I have never seen a single person thanking farmers for their hard work.
People do not even acknowledge our farmers’ very existence.

How absurd.

Work that builds the foundation of society:
Farmers, Repairmen, Sewage Workers…

This is holy and real work; I shall thank them every day.
